Wine Country Cook, the blog, is where I share recipes I love—usually inspired by my life in the Napa Valley.
The recipes I share on Wine Country Cook are easy to make because I believe good food shouldn’t be difficult to prepare. I cook with a lot of fresh ingredients and most of the finished dishes are family-friendly, but can be paired with wine for the grownups at the table.
Wine Country Cook, the LLC, is a new media publishing company my husband, Jack Irby and I started in the summer of 2011.
Under its imprint, Hang Time Press we are publishing the works of emerging writers in our community. Because we both love food and wine, our books will largely focus those topics.
