I love a good story.
I’ve spent my life chasing and telling good stories. As a professional writer, I’ve told those stories via innovative communication vehicles and exquisite events for the world’s most prestigious companies, including Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit magazine, LVMH’s Chandon California, and Providence’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center. I’ve told stories via more than a dozen food- and wine-focused books. And I’ve used storytelling to raise funds for important causes, including healthcare, literacy and community services.

I don’t remember ever being bored at the cabin. If we weren’t running around outside with our cousins, swimming at the river, or playing games with whoever was up for Yahtzee or gin rummy, there was plenty to do by ourselves. We could lose ourselves in game after game of solitaire, hike up or down the creek or embroider.
